ABOUT HANDS ON MASKS
This site and all of our efforts are dedicated to the heroes who are on the frontlines of this pandemic.
Our mission is to unite a community of people all over the country by inspiring them to come together as one and donate their time and resources to create much needed non-surgical masks.
Together, we can not only create awareness but we can help those heroes in desperate need who leave their families home everyday to go out and help everyone else’s.
OUR PROUD SPONSORS
Internationally renowned company, Supima Cotton, is Hands on Masks’ proud cotton sponsor. Supima has provided hundreds of yards of cotton that have enabled our organization to make many masks.
EL PASO AID
A group of professors from El Paso that have created 3D masks with filters for essential workers. Hands on Masks were honored to be the first company to receive their masks in the US.
MAD ENT LLC
After hours of wear, masks can become uncomfortable. Mad ENT LLC came to the rescue with their incredible custom 3D ear savers. Every person that receives our masks also receives these ear savers.
MEET THE TEAM
Owner of Barbara Kavchok Couture, Barbara and her team create beautiful dresses for brides on their big day. Being a female entrepreneur has given Barbara the ability to spend time with her family and those closest to her. Recently with the health crisis, Barbara decided to create masks for healthcare workers in an effort to aid those at the front lines. Longtime client Linda Oliver connected with Barbara and was inspired to take the idea to the next level, creating Hands On Masks.
Founder of Hands on Masks, Linda was inspired by her client, bridal designer Barbara Kavchok, to work together when she learned Barbara was making handmade masks for those in need.
When she’s not on a photo shoot or in a fitting, the Texas-born fashion model spends her time on the race track, in search of adventure. Philanthropy is a priority to Linda. With Hands On Masks, Linda’s mission is to raise awareness and bring the community together to help medical heroes on the front line receive basic supplies during this world crisis.
Always ready to answer the call when help is needed, Maria learned about Hands on Masks from her brother, Bryan – a good friend of Linda’s. Together, Linda and Maria have worked hard to create a solid team – with one focusing on the production aspect while the other running the administrative behind-the-scenes business, respectively.
World traveler always in search of new adventures, Maria is a native New Jersian with a constant desire to explore new places. Whether through her full time job within the nonprofit sector, her fashion business or travel company, Maria has always loved to help others in any way she can.
